Washington State Library's collection of reminiscences of D.S. Taff, 1976-1980.

This is a collection of D. S. Taff reminiscences about living in Tacoma, WA. "The writing is based mainly on many, many conversations between Anna Peacock [his grandmother] and Emma Taff (my mother) circa 1909-1923." Taff also writes an essay about the early beginnings of Fort Lewis, the U.S. Army Base, located in Pierce County, WA. Taff wrote an essay about the commonalities of Pierce County towns in 1910.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank. Charles had become a banker by 1930. Between 1957 & 1958 Charles passed away. And Maud passed away on 29 May 1960 in Chehalis, WA.
